Gloucester is 3.5 hours flatline from Sydney; 1.5 hours from Newcastle; and 2 hours from Armidale. Also 1 hour to the coast (Forster).
Best roads in are via the Waterfallway (Grafton North); The thunderbolts Way (Armidale West) and the Putty or via Wollambi (South).
Accommodation is always tight.

BUT my suggestion is ... if you get your act together and e-mail me your dates I will arrange some home hosting with either some Rotarians or non Rotarians .... but Motorcycle friendly.
If you get in early you can have Rotarian and Motorcycle friendly. About 6 Club members are IFMR members and our whole Club are used to this type of request and will enjoy your company.
Basic Program.
Friday: Arrive when you wish ... earlier if you can get away
Dinner (BBQ) Fully catered for by Gloucester Rotary Club Members at my home, 16 Hay Street Gloucester. We will organise a venue pick up if you do not want to ride. (Lock up bike storage
available at my home). COST probably $25 a head dry and $50 wet (beer and wine) – details
subject to revision.
Saturday Mystery ride: Leave at 9.30 am (My House) and take either of 2 routes.
1. Adventure Bikes on good formed roads and better trails to suit average rider competent with dirt (4wd OK)
2. Road bikes and cars, fully bitumen.
Both ending up at same lunch spot (isolated) Cost tbc $15. (No alcohol provided or taken please)
Return journey will be an observation trial as a group ride but to travel at own speed.
Both rides are pillion friendly ... snuggle up on the dirt eh!
Saturday Evening: AGM 5pm at Roadies Cafe in the main street. Dinner to follow. Dinner will be a mixture of figure food, Curries and Pizza... Something for everyone and dieters can be handled. Cost will be about $30 per head, pay on the night.
Guest for the evening will be a short talk of his annual travel overseas, 2 up with his wife, you will love it he is entertaining and great company.
Sunday: Breakfast (8 to 9.30) Cereal, bacon &eggs and tea and coffee at my home in town (cost will be a donation to Aust Rotary Health) then depart if you wish or if you are staying I will organise a district tour (by bike) which will be all formed roads but a bit of gravel and bitumen... suits all bikes and we can do lunch on the way.
