We stayed at the Traveller’s Rest Motel and were well looked after by our hosts.
Saturday night saw us all in the courtesy bus out to Murray Downs Golf Club for a meeting and dinner. Breakfast around the motel pool in the morning followed by a quick look at the sights. We then travelled out to meet Geoff and Lynn Ward. Geoff is the President of Swan Hill RC. We partook of scones with a hot cuppa prior to the journey home.

Historian’s Note:
This group also included IFMR members from the Horsham area and from Daylesford.
It turned out that the areas in which these Victorians, and other Rotarians that they recruited, lived, became the preferred area to hold IFMR meetings and rides for a number of years. Swan Hill and Horsham are still popular venues.
