International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians (IFMR)- OBJECTIVES
TO BRING TOGETHER ROTARIANS & MOTORCYCLISTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD WHO SHARE AN INTEREST
IN ALL TYPES OF MOTORCYCLES.
Membership is open to all who have an active interest in any of the many facets of Motorcycling - touring, off road,
commuter,racing, historic and restoring etc..
TO SPONSOR AND SUPPORT RESEARCH INTO INJURIES COMMONLY SUFFERED BY MOTORCYCLISTS.
TO PROMOTE MOTORCYCLE SAFETY.
TO ESTABLISH A WEBSITE INCORPORATING A MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY.
TO HOLD REGULAR GATHERINGS AND AN ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.
The IFMR offers it's members the opportunity of genuine fellowship with others who share an interest in Motorcycling,
it's history and it's future, together with those who encourage Motorcycle safety and support our research aims.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Official recognition of this Australian initiated Fellowship, was received from Rotary International in January 1992.
Chapters have now been formed in many country's around the world. Groups of "Rotacyclists" have been gathering regularly in many areas to share their interests in Rotary and Motorcycling.
Details of planned rides of all Chapters are promoted in each Chapter’s Newsletters, and all members are encouraged to participate. Members and visitors are always welcome.
Members are promoting the IFMR at Rotary Clubs, and at Rotary District Conferences.
At the Rotary International World Convention each year, the IFMR is promoted by Members manning a Booth.
Information from this Membership Form will assist in the compilation of the IFMR Australian Chapter database, and will be available to all members so that they may share with you common interests and activities.
The IFMR offers you the opportunity for advancement of Fellowship and Service through Motorcycling.
